Freeze-dried violet hydrangea, genuine FlutterFly® petals, pink cornflower and pink-and-blue SnowPetals® come together in a richly textured floral confetti blend. Violet gives the palette depth, pink brings a romantic accent and blue adds a cooler contrast. It’s a lovely companion to pink-and-blue wedding details, violet bouquets and colourful garden ceremonies.
Imagine a shower of different floral shapes fluttering around you as your guests celebrate. The hydrangea and cornflower bring botanical texture, while the lightweight FlutterFly® petals add gentle movement to your just-married photographs. This combination celebrates the character of real petals rather than a uniform confetti shape.
Natural petal shapes and shades may vary.
Keep the confetti cool, dark and dry, and follow the care instructions supplied for this mixed-petal product. Its freeze-dried hydrangea, cornflower and SnowPetals® components should not be treated as though they have the same storage requirements as preserved FlutterFly® petals.
FlutterFly® colours stored separately in an airtight container stay at their best for up to 12 months. This applies to the FlutterFly® component only, not to the shelf life of the complete blend.
When combining coloured preserved petals with white or lighter petals, mix only 1–2 weeks before use. The stronger the colour, the later we recommend mixing within that window to help limit colour transfer. Follow any component-specific instructions supplied for the other petals.
We recommend sheer organza bags for coloured preserved petals. Fill sheer organza bags or clear compostable packets 1–2 weeks before use, subject to the care instructions supplied for the other components in this blend. If using biodegradable glassine packets, fill this coloured mix only the day before use.
Coloured preserved petals are not colour-fast and may mark clothing, particularly with prolonged contact. All-white FlutterFly® petals on their own are an alternative and can be packed in biodegradable glassine packets anytime.
All mixes are made to order, for preserved/ naturally dyed petal mixes, make sure they will be used within 2 weeks. Solid colours for example like All red or All White will be fine and at best for at least 6 months. Mixes which contain more than one colour will need more care, make sure to delay your order no earlier than 2 weeks before they will be used. You can delay your order at the checkout page. If required they can be placed into individual packaging up to 3 days before use.
For naturally Dried petals, these mixes will be fine to keep for at least 6 months and packaged into individual packaging 2-3 weeks before use.
For preserved petal confetti we recommend white sheer organza bags or confetti cups, biodegradable glassine bags can be used with all naturally dried confetti, snowpetals, white flutterfly, and pure white petals. Mixes which have a heavy colour content may react with the biodegradable glassine packaging causing stain.
