Soft muted blue and delicate sage green make a quietly beautiful pairing in this two-colour FlutterFly® blend. Light Dusty Blue brings a cool floral accent, while Light Sage echoes the greenery in your wedding styling. With no white or pink in the mix, the focus stays on these two complementary shades, a lovely choice for botanical garden ceremonies, coastal-inspired celebrations and relaxed boho weddings.
Imagine your guests sending blue and sage petals fluttering around you as you walk together. Their soft texture and delicate natural veining give this understated palette a romantic, real-flower finish, while the lightweight petals bring gentle movement to your just-married photographs.
For a more layered palette, explore our Light Dusty Blue blend range for combinations with White, Blush and FUSCHIA, or purchase colours separately to create your own mix nearer the day. Natural petal shapes and shades may vary.
For a pre-mixed order, we recommend using the confetti within one week of receipt to help limit pigment transfer onto lighter petals. If ordering early, select “Delay my delivery” at the basket/checkout to time delivery closer to your wedding, or purchase the colours separately and mix them nearer the day.
Store cool, dark and dry. FlutterFly® colours kept separately in an airtight container stay at their best for up to 12 months.
Combine coloured preserved petals with white or lighter petals only 1–2 weeks before use. The stronger the colour, the later we recommend mixing within that window to help protect lighter petals from colour transfer. For petals received pre-mixed, follow the shorter one-week guidance above.
If buying your confetti in litres, add packaging separately where required. We recommend sheer organza bags for coloured petals. Fill sheer organza bags or clear compostable packets 1–2 weeks before use, following the mixing guidance and shorter pre-mixed guidance above. If using biodegradable glassine packets, fill this coloured mix only the day before use.
Coloured preserved petals are not colour-fast and may mark clothing, particularly with prolonged contact. All-white FlutterFly® petals are an alternative and can be packed in biodegradable glassine packets anytime.
All mixes are made to order, for preserved/ naturally dyed petal mixes, make sure they will be used within 2 weeks. Solid colours for example like All red or All White will be fine and at best for at least 6 months. Mixes which contain more than one colour will need more care, make sure to delay your order no earlier than 2 weeks before they will be used. You can delay your order at the checkout page. If required they can be placed into individual packaging up to 3 days before use.
For naturally Dried petals, these mixes will be fine to keep for at least 6 months and packaged into individual packaging 2-3 weeks before use.
For preserved petal confetti we recommend white sheer organza bags or confetti cups, biodegradable glassine bags can be used with all naturally dried confetti, snowpetals, white flutterfly, and pure white petals. Mixes which have a heavy colour content may react with the biodegradable glassine packaging causing stain.
