SLOW FALLING, FLUTTERING, PICTURESQUE This product offers a beautiful blend of blue, orange and lime shade hydrangea petals, extremely light, floaty, fluttery & delicate, creating a colorful and natural confetti option. These real petals are biodegradable, making them an eco-friendly choice for any event, while also providing a stunning visual display.

With this type of hydrangea petals 1 measured litre of the petals will accommodate 10 average servings, or personal preference.

Storage & Packaging Guidance

Coloured preserved petals that have been pre-mixed will stay at their best for 1–2 weeks. The petals will not degrade in this time, but for mixes containing lots of colour, dye may transfer onto other petals — so they won't be 100% perfect. If your mix contains heavy colour and you'd like to receive your petals in advance of your event, please request they come un-mixed — this gives a shelf life of 6–12 months.

Please do not place preserved coloured petals into paper or glassine packaging. Instead, use compostable clear packets or sheer organza bags — these can be packaged up to 1–2 weeks before your event to keep them at their absolute best.

Top tip: If you're purchasing in advance, get your petals out a week before your event to fluff them up and let some air circulate — so they're ready for the main event.

If choosing Biodegradable white packets for your preserved petals, these are only suitable for white petals. Other packaging options are available for preserved coloured petals.

Alternatively, place your order now and choose to delay dispatch until 1–2 weeks before your event — this secures your petals and ensures they arrive in perfect condition.

If storing your petals, keep them in a cool, dry and dark place. The zipped bag they arrive in may need opening slightly during warmer months so they don't sweat.

Before you purchase petal Confetti here are some essential tips

Am i ordering too far in advance?

All mixes are made to order, for preserved/ naturally dyed petal mixes, make sure they will be used within 2 weeks. Solid colours for example like All red or All White will be fine and at best for at least 6 months. Mixes which contain more than one colour will need more care, make sure to delay your order no earlier than 2 weeks before they will be used. You can delay your order at the checkout page. If required they can be placed into individual packaging up to 3 days before use.

For naturally Dried petals, these mixes will be fine to keep for at least 6 months and packaged into individual packaging 2-3 weeks before use.

Have i chosen the right packaging?

For preserved petal confetti we recommend white sheer organza bags or confetti cups, biodegradable glassine bags can be used with all naturally dried confetti, snowpetals, white flutterfly, and pure white petals. Mixes which have a heavy colour content may react with the biodegradable glassine packaging causing stain.
